Sasha Auerbakh artistic practice focuses on sculpture and its potential to translate form into meaning through the eye and experience of the viewer. Her objects often allude to common visual codes and serve as place holders or props for specific narratives. In 12 she choses symbols and motives of the Tarot cards imagery and assembles them. They become surreal, semi-abstract objects, where each object stands for a certain feeling or situation, but at the same time avoids straight references.
